Countdown to 10.000

Hello, thar. Meinos Kaen here!

Damn, am I giddy with excitement! Why? But because the hit counter is almost reaching the fated five digits! Yeah, I may have missed an opportunity for an 'Over nine Thousand' joke-well, I didn't on Facebook and Twitter-but I find the 10.000 goal to be much more meaningful. Why? Because it's bigger, of course! I've collected almost 10.000 hits in less than Four Months! What can I offer you, along with my thanks and lifelong gratitude? Well, I'm happy to announce you that something special is coming your way.

Something that will be revealed once the counter hits 10.000.

What am I talking about? Well, you may have noticed that I added a new page to this blog, which is currently titled 'Counting Down...'. Right here, see?

Right now, the page only contains a mysteeeeeerious banner. The situation will change, and drastically, once the counter hits the five digits. For now, the image contains a hint to one of the things which make this new project of mine -although still in story format, it is something radically different from everything I've done up till now, so I call it project- so different and special. In the catchphrase.

Would you like to decide what comes next?

Now, I know this isn't exactly a 'new concept', since polls are an old invention. What's different in the Project is the magnitude of the effects your choices will have on it. Polls have been used, yeah, but at most for deciding pairings, or an ending. In the Project, you will be called to partake in much bigger decisions, in greater numbers. And the best part is that you may not know the effects of your choices until much later on.

Kind of like that, only in English. Including the fact that I will give you something that polls usually do not: I shall give you the chance, from time to time, to make the wrong choice, to quake up royally. And again, in that case, I alone shall know if and how that happened. Sometimes it will be subtle, so be prepared and work on your wits.

That sums up all that I can tell you. Everything else will be a surprise for the big day. Interested, aren't you? And even a little scared, I bet. I kind of am too, since this will be the first time I put my writing in the hands of someone else's will. I wonder what kind of story will come out of it... I'll leave you with that same question in mind.

Meinos Kaen out! Oh, and... 9314.

P.S.: Before you ask, yeah. The basic concept of the thing, I dreamed.
