So, yesterday, I was engaging in a conversation with a few friends about how TFF (The Fanfiction Forums), the den where I formed my trade over the years, is running dry of creative juice. Mostly because the bulk of the forums was the Naruto section, but with the fandom slowly going stale and our only admin closing up registrations and disappearing on us, it's also because of a lack of new blood, and also of being in line with times. New fandoms have been appearing left and right, but the TFF has no sections for them. And again, as I said, no registering. So, the source of much brainstorming and happy memories was going stale, I was losing it. I couldn't allow that to happen. And as such, I've taken a decision.

A couple of my other colleagues have tried it. They couldn't get past the starting stage, eventually gave up. Why? Well, because they could and did only publicize their endeavor in our old forums. They didn't publicize it to other people, to their fans. To you, who are what makes me keep writing. We've always been kind of a little elite, not actively looking for new recruits. I now recognize that was a mistake. That is not going to happen in my Fanfiction Forums.

Yep, that's right. I declare, here and now, that Meinos Kaen is going to open up his own place where everyone can come to read, write and discuss everything, fictional or not. A den where much insanity and I hope inspiration will be born for you future writers. Everyone is invited to join it, no level or genre of writing will be prohibited or frowned upon. I... I'll even... NNNNGH! Yeah, I'll allow Yaoi. It's going to have it's separate section, but it's going to be there.

The name? Well, they're going to be called The Fictionize Forums. Where anything can be turned into fiction... And entertainment. Be it Fanfiction or Original Fiction, you'll have a place where to share and get better at your trade and have some more direct feedback than what you get on Fanfiction.net, from authors old and new. We're going to open up soon, feed this blog if you haven't done it already!
