First CoU Poll Result and news

So, CoU's first pool has come to a close! With a landslide, the first option, the Training Grounds, has won. I was actually planning on posting it today, but boy, it's been a miracle that I managed to post this notice. I now have back my PC and my Laptop, but those idiotic techs of the phone company didn't put the line in my apartment back on like they were supposed to yesterday because they weren't sure it was my apartment when I had called to give them the adress. ARE YOU QUAKEING KIDDING ME?! 


So now I have to wait a few more days to get internet in my new apartment. Fortunately, I'll go back home for the weekend, and there's plenty of Internet to go, there. That will let me post a good post and also plan the others for the following week. There may be some delays for a few days more, but it's only temporary. Also, rejoice. PC means Files which mean Fanfiction writing. :) Expect an update very soon.

10000! The Project is Unveiled!

Finally here! 10.000 HITS! Thank you thank you thank you thank you, my readers, fans and friends! As promised, I'm going to unveil, fully and completely, the Project, that of course isn't going to keep this name. As I've said, this is a story you're going to have a hand in developing, in choosing where it goes. The question you have to ask me is how?

All of that and more is going to be explained here, right now, starting with the story's name. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, for the joy of cricket fans, Corridor of Uncertainty.

What If... #4

Brand new day, brand new post, and brand new 'What If...'! Yet again, we go to the Naruto series and if until now we've been focusing on modifications, changes and hypothesis, today we go to something else, the purest of the acts of writing: creation. Today, we modify reality by creating something, or better yet, someone.

Before beginning, a little bit about my opinion on Original Characters, which I know many readers fear and/or loathe. I can understand why, I've seen how most authors use them: self-insertion, or 'fix all/end all' allies, and the least I say about villains, the better. But the point is that no one can avoid reading and/or creating OCs, because that's what a bona-fide writer does all the time, creating his own original characters and situations all the time. So, I encourage you to experiment and put some effort in creating OCs, if you ever want to write more than fan-fiction.

That out of the way, let's throw Naruto for a loop by giving him some responsibility early on in his life. Today's 'What If...' is:

Damn, am I giddy with excitement! Why? But because the hit counter is almost reaching the fated five digits! Yeah, I may have missed an opportunity for an 'Over nine Thousand' joke-well, I didn't on Facebook and Twitter-but I find the 10.000 goal to be much more meaningful. Why? Because it's bigger, of course! I've collected almost 10.000 hits in less than Four Months! What can I offer you, along with my thanks and lifelong gratitude? Well, I'm happy to announce you that something special is coming your way.

Let's talk about Outlaws

Today is a happy day, and not just because my Football/Soccer Team started winning again just in time for Champions League, but also because the grip of cold that has been enveloping Europe lately let up, at least for a Saturday. So, what does a Meinos do on a rain/snow-free day like this? Stay inside and write the next article for his blog, of course! After getting rid of the hangover from yesterday's party.

Today's subject is comics, or better, the only comic series I'm following regularly, probably the most talked about series of DC's New 52: Red Hood & The Outlaws.

Let's go to the movies! -Kamen Rider: The First-

So, what shall we talk about today? Oh, yeah. I think we should talk about this thing in my gut that's about to burst out Xenomorph style unless I let it out in another way. I really feel the need to express myself. Good thing I have a blog, which I can use as release valve to save my body from rage poisoning. Rage at what? Well, a bit of background first.

You know that I like writing, and you know that I like anime, and videogames. What you don't know is that I also like Kamen Rider, ever since I've started reading Kamen Rider Spirits a few years ago. Don't even mention the Saiban one or you're going to get a Rider Kick right in the nads, by the way. So, I've been trying to widen my culture and I was oh so disappointed to find out that the Showa Era shows aren't subbed... Yet. Then I saw that they had made a feature movie based on the original Kamen Riders, Ichigo and Niigo alias 1 and 2. I thought they would be a valid alternative.

… God, was I WRONG.

Today I bring you something unique, something awesome, something that hopefully won't take much of my dignity and smear it on the asphalt like an urban lemming dropping from a skyscraper. I'm talking about my first VideoBlog! Yep, today's Blog is brought to you directly live, with my actual voice and body. Nothing kinky about that, of course.

Today's VideoBlog talks about... Well, if I talked about it here, why the hell would I have made the quaking thing in the first place? Yeah, I decided to change 'quacking' in 'quake' after hearing how that came out on Video. A force of nature sounds cooler than water fowl, I guess. I still say 'quacking' in the video, though.

Ready for another trip in the world of possibile alteration of reality? I sure am. After changing the world by changing someone's sex and then by altering or discovering its hidden past, today I decided to focus on something else. Up until now we've altered things that characters find on the outside, in the world around them. Today, I want to focus on something that is inside. A character's temperament and insight on life.

So, if we focus on the Naruto series, which character's temperament, upon modification, would bring upon the biggest change in the plot?

You know what's worse about a new house without internet connection? Having to go back for a week to the old one because of bad weather (Wee, snow!), having moved your PC to the new one and finding out that my laptop still needs some repairing. QUACKING DAMN IT! Fortunately, I managed to hijack my younger brother's PC for the time being. So, here we are. What do I want to talk about, today? Mostly, about the future.

Moving in the new house is taking up a lot of time. There's also the fact that it currently doesn't have AN INTERNET CONNECTION. That will be rectified soon, thankfully. Today, I wanted to share with you the results of the poll I put up a couple weeks ago, to let you decide the subject of my next one-shot. Going through them quickly, the options were:
