As promised, today I changed the url of the blog from storieinrosso.blogspot.com to the simpler www.storieinrosso.com! The change is going to be working in a few hours. In the meanwhile, some of you may find some problems in using the links on this page. No problemo. Until Google effectively changes the url, if you get a 'not found' page, just paste the old url in place of the new one.

Example: With the change, this post's url is now http://www.storieinrosso.com/2012/03/teaser-site-url-and-whatcha-reading.html. It's going to go up in a few hours, but you want to read it NOW! So, what do you do? Simply replace the parent part of the url!

Ready to travel with your mind, once again? Before that, announcements. First, I remind you that at the end of the day, I shall change the url of this blog to www.storieinrosso.com. I will make it so that you'll get directed there even if you type in the original Url, but some of the links to direct posts may not work anymore. Second, I guess I don't need to remind you of the imminent start of my original web novel. Third and last, suggestions are open for future What If... articles! Just suggest whatever comes to your mind, no matter how strange or ludicrous the idea is. If it catches my interest, it will be done. That out of the way, let's see in what kind of trouble will we put Naruto into today. This is a derivative of a one-shot by my colleague BukkakeNoJutsu. Well, not really the story, just a part of it, the ending. Called A Meeting between Heaven and Earth. It focuses on a Naruto becoming enlightened by his training in Senjutsu, also called Sage Mode. Today I bring you a couple of important announcements. Be sure to take careful notes. First thing, the Internet finally managed to extort some money from me. Starting from Wednesday next week, I will change this blog's url from storieinrosso.blogspot.com to the simpler www.storieinrosso.com. No worries for eventual hotlinks or bookmarks, I will make it so that the old Url will direct to the new one automatically. No risk of losing my precious readers, that way.

The other big piece of news is something that I've already announced in a past post and now it's time to make official... Or maybe not. Not yet. For now, I give you this teaSer image, which towers in the new section of the site.

This image, my dear readers, is the teaSer to what will be my very first online story of Original Fiction. Yes, that's right. A completely original story by Meinos Kaen.

So, seeing the success of my first community service - otherwise known as a review of Yellow Prince's fic True Monster - and being a sucker for things that please my fans, I've decided to bring you another of my personal favorites -a recent one-, scrutinized and analyzed. This time, we have a true winner. It's a little fic that has caught my heart and didn't let go. A X-Over of just two chapters, for now, inbetween the Naruto and, as some of you probably understood from the title already, the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim. Whatcha Reading? - True Monster by Yellow Prince

Today I bring you a public service. Well, not really, but it should be! After all, we all know how difficult it's become to chance upon decent Fanfiction, especially on Fanfiction.Net. The Naruto section is the biggest Manga Subsection and the bigger the section, of course, the bigger the percentage of lower quality stories. There's also the problem that there's no quakeing Yaoi Filter, something which I really wish existed. I mean, seriously. After watching the first six seasons of Supernatural, I was like 'Damn. There's no way no one ever wrote Fanfiction about this.' Then I found out it was the biggest TV-Show Fanfiction Subsection. I was about to open it when my heart froze. 'Wait a minute.' I thought to myself. 'It's a series about two attractive brothers who care for each other more than anything in the world and would do anything to protect each other.' I added that to the Yaoi Fangirl equation, remembering what happened in Harry Potter and Naruto. I recoiled in fright.

So, I think it actually is of public service reviewing and making the world know about decent Fanfiction out there. Let's get started with today's Fanfiction, this one from the Naruto Fandom.

Finally solved all the problems related to my internet connection, I return to you with the review of a movie of which I recently purchased the Director's Cut Blu-Ray version and I must say that it left me with a very good impression. The unusual genre coupled with the name made me think of something dumb, a flick, but it was much better than what I thought. Ladies and gentlemen, with a score of 7 out of 10, I give you my impression of Cowboy & Aliens.

Naruto X-Over Bloopers III

Hello, thar. Meinos Kaen here! FINALLY ON-LINE FROM ROME! Damn, I had to wait a while but is it worth it. This thing has connection speed out the whazoo, and the new modem is much better than any I had back home. Thus, this calls for a celebration. And while you wait for a Fanfiction update and for a CoU poll to close, I decided to give you one of my favourite Naruto X-Over Bloopers ever. As promised, here we are with the next part of CoU. With a landslide, our Naruto has decided to prioritize training over checking if something else has been screwed over by The White. Yes, I'm going to write it capitalized from now on for emphasis. So, I'll let you get right to it... After a service announcement! I finally found an use for Twitter that it isn't just to post more quickly on Facebook!

 

From now on, I'm going to post the most amusing excerpts and phrases of my next updates on Twitter, before the actual chapter gets published. Some times they will be amusing, some times they could contain huge spoilers for the most attentive readers and some times I'm going to enjoy quakeing with your brain with what I write.
